Yesterday we celebrated with a small ceremony and fair, where the 15 women showcased their businesses. The range of different products and services was incredible: from architecture and shoes, to banana flour and mango-piri-piri jam, yum!
Economic empowerment remains a challenge for the women of Mozambique. The femtech programme, which is implemented by our partner ideiaLab, tries to address this issue by providing female business owners with several workshops to improve their business efficiency. Perhaps more importantly: during the programme the participants form a tight-knit network of #female #entrepreneurs that support each other and do business together.
